The history-making season for Reeds Spring High School’s football team ended with a second-place finish in the state. Cardinal Ritter defeated Reeds Spring 46-7 in the Class 3 State Championship, played on December 3 at the University of Missouri.


“I am so thankful for this season, and I am so proud to be a Wolf,” said head coach Andy McFarland. “55 players showed up every single day and gave their all for their team.”


The Wolves' lone touchdown came on a pass from Blandy Burall to Jace Bolin. Running back Preston Blubaugh had 21 carries for 91 yards. Burall threw for 120 yards and a touchdown, and receiver James Dowdy had five catches for 68 yards.


This was the first time that Reeds Spring High School had ever played in a championship football game. The team finished the season with a record of 11-3.

Girls Basketball
The RSHS Lady Wolves began the season in the Blue Eye Tournament. RSHS lost to Berryville 56-29 and lost to Spokane 46-40 before beating Exeter 60-21. Riley Sadler scored 23 points in the win.
