Medication Policy/Guidelines

It is important to familiarize yourself with the District's Medication Policy and Guidelines.

Medication must be brought to the nurse by an adult and the proper paperwork needs to be signed. Students are not allowed to transport medication to school. If your child has an inhaler, EpiPen, or other emergency medication, and needs to carry it with them, please see the school nurse.  There is specific paperwork that needs to be signed by the physician and the parent.  Your child will not be allowed to carry this medication unless this paperwork is on file.
Please contact the school nurse in your child's specific building for any questions.

As a general rule, we will not administer over the counter medication to students within one hour of school dismissal.
