Lacie Oxenreider holding a certificate

Each month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one exceptional teacher with an Excellence Award. This month’s deserving winner is Mrs. Lacie Oxenreider. She teaches second grade at Reeds Spring Elementary School.

“Mrs. Oxenreider builds strong relationships with her students, helping them feel heard, valued, and excited about learning,” said Principal Dr. Laura Weber. “Her calm yet confident classroom presence creates an environment where students thrive and remain engaged.”

This is Oxenreider’s first year at Reeds Spring, but she has eight years of teaching experience. One parent said, “Mrs. Oxenreider has made such a huge difference for my son this school year. He is happy to go to school every day and told me that he truly feels heard and appreciated.”

The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. You can find the nomination form on the district website, www.rs-wolves.com
