Each month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one non-teaching staff member with the Employee of the Month Excellence Award. January’s honoree is Dawn Schade, the district’s Technology Integration Specialist.
“She is the perfect person to help technology-challenged people,” said Registrar Marlene Quigley. “She doesn't just take care of the issue; she does it with patience and understanding, and always has a positive attitude.”
Schade has worked at Reeds Spring Schools for 19 years. She was previously a classroom teacher and Makerspace teacher before taking on this technology role.
“Dawn provides high-level professional development and technical support that directly enhances classroom learning,” said Director of Information and Technology Joe Carlile. “Her deep passion for student success and commitment to excellence have quickly established her as an indispensable, world-class asset to our district’s technology team.”
