For a district committed to Academic and Personal Excellence, it gives Reeds Spring Schools great pride to announce that its transportation department has received a Total Fleet Excellence Award from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
That goes to school bus fleets that have over 90% of their buses pass inspection with zero out-of-service defects. Reeds Spring scored 97.1%!
“This award is a testament to the dedication and attention to detail of our mechanics and drivers,” said Transportation Director Carlos Haynes. “Safety is always our top priority, and we’re proud to provide reliable transportation for our students every day.”
The Missouri State Highway Patrol conducts bus inspections every year. This covers brakes, crossing control arms, seats, tires, and much more.
