The Reeds Spring School District has announced plans to sell the former Gibson Technical Center, a 44,000-square-foot facility that previously housed the district’s career and technical education programs.
The building has been unoccupied since November 2024, when the district opened the new Table Rock Career Center—a state-of-the-art facility that now serves students from across the region with expanded programs and cutting-edge equipment.
“With the successful transition to our new career center, we no longer need the Gibson facility,” said Superintendent Dr. Cody Hirschi. “As a district, we are committed to being good stewards of public resources. Selling the building ensures that our focus and investments remain aligned with spaces actively supporting student learning.”
Originally constructed in 1974, Gibson Technical Center includes multiple classrooms, shop areas, administrative offices, and parking. The facility is fully wired with fiber to support modern technology needs.
Local organizations have already expressed interest in the facility, recognizing its potential for a variety of future uses. Those interested in learning more or inquiring about the sale should contact Dr. Hirschi’s office at 417-272-8173.
