Update #3: Good news: Power has been restored. The bad news: Galena was still having power issues and is canceling for the rest of the day. We did not want to move forward with having the Award Ceremony w/o them present. Rescheduled for 12:45 Tues

Early Childhood Careers seniors had the opportunity to take a field trip to Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville for a day of professional development. They focused on the benefits of play in early educational development.

Nine students from the EMT program passed their psychomotor skills exam on the first attempt in Blue Springs, Missouri. These students will continue the licensing process when they take the written NREMT examination to earn their Missouri EMT license.

Update #2. Power is still out, so we're having to push our morning Awards Ceremony to Tuesday. Hoping to have the afternoon ceremony as planned.

Update: We are holding out hope that power will be restored, with using 10:00 as a deadline for the morning Awards Ceremony. If power is not on by then, we will be forced to move the ceremony to Tuesday at 9:00.

Due to weather and power outages we may have to delay our Awards Ceremony. We will keep you posted.

We've got some Surplus Items up for bid. See more information on this link: https://www.rs-wolves.com/o/rssd/page/bidsrfps

Congratulations to Reeds Spring Senior Talan Gold and Galena Senior Tray Murphy who recently committed to continuing their education/training at Apex Welding Academy.

The construction program began construction on a new home at the beginning of the school year. The goal by the end of the year was to get the house "in the dry" (the point in the construction process where the rough exterior work has been completed: windows, doors, roofing shingles and a weather-resistant barrier have all been installed).
Mission accomplished; four weeks ahead of schedule! Great Job!

Culinary Arts students just completed their food truck wars competition. Students from other programs judged each truck on flavor, presentation, if the food matched the theme of the truck, and if they would be a returning customer.

Students in the Computer Technology program have been busy assembling computers with components purchased with funds from a DESE $10,000 grant the program recently received.

It was great seeing so many people at our 50th Anniversary Open House. Most of all, we were honored to have former Reeds Spring Superintendent of Schools, Omar Gibson, in attendance. His vision for Career and Technical Education over 50 years ago paved the way in preparing today's students for tomorrow through quality career and technical education.

Congratulations to the SkillsUSA Welding Fabrication Team who took home the silver medal at the 2024 State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Automotive Technology students have been hard at work removing an engine and transmission from the frame of a Chevy S-10.

Students in the Automotive Technology program have been busy learning about diagnosing issues with a vehicle's electrical system.

Congratulations to @CranePiratesHS on winning our "Sending School of the Year Award"! Can they go "back to back", or will someone take down the champ and be the first to win under our new name of Table Rock Career Center in 2025....? #Challenge

Seniors are preparing for their 3G & 4G structural weld tests. When finished, students must pass a visual inspection for each position, then cut and prep the bend straps that are marked on each weld plate.
On April 23 a Certified Welding Instructor will be present to bend each senior's bend straps. Students will receive a pass/fail from the CWI.
Students who pass will earn their structural welding certification.
