Recently, representatives from Mercy Springfield and Mercy EMS shared an inside look at the wide variety of career and continuing education opportunities the organizations offer. Beyond learning about potential career paths, our EMT students also received a comprehensive walkthrough of the essential procedures and protocols required for their upcoming clinical rotations with Mercy EMS and the Stone County Ambulance District. Thanks to both of these organizations for investing so much into the next generation of healthcare heroes.

Students in the Construction program recently installed a privacy fence around the back of the house they have been working on for the last two years. Completion of this portion of the project marks the end of this construction cycle. All that is left is the final inspection and soon this house will become a family's home.

What do Culinary Arts students do on AMI days? Mrs. Noriega's students had a Pantry Challenge where they had to prepare a recipe with whatever they had at the house. In addition to preparing the food, the students had to complete a cost analysis of the ingredients used in the recipe. Lastly, the students had to get feedback from those who sampled their creations.
