Students in the Marine Technology program have been hard at work preparing for the 2025 Rain Gutter Regatta Challenge. They are building their own miniature hulls designed from a piece of Styrofoam board, installing and wiring a motor with a propeller powered by a 9 volt battery. When complete, the students will race their creations down a thirty foot rain gutter to determine what design is the fastest!






Students in the Graphic Design program have been hard at work during the first semester having completed almost 100 customer projects. From heat pressing T-shirts, creating brochures, and embroidering a wide variety of garments, this program does it all for so many area businesses and organizations.




Officers from our SkillsUSA Chapter recently attended the Southwest Missouri Fall Leadership Conference. This year's theme is "Champion Your Future." Congrats to all of those who attended for earning his/her Statesman Pin.




Students in Collision Repair and Auto Technology II have been collaborating on a complete refinish of an Infiniti G37x. The Auto Technology II students installed new coil over springs and sway bars. The Collision Repair students are in the process of repainting the customer's vehicle.
It was great having the opportunity to meet with sophomores from Blue Eye High School who were able to explore all of the great things TRCC has to offer in all of our programs of study. We appreciate the partnership we have with the Bulldogs in empowering learners for lifelong success.

Students in the Culinary Arts program have been working hard in the kitchen this semester catering multiple events. Students recently took their ServSafe Managers Certification Test. This certification is a widely recognized and required credential in the hospitality industry.





The students in the Construction program have been hard at work putting the final touches on the house they began building in 2023. From fabricating a raised flower bed, planting grass in the yard, fitting shelving in the closets and the installing the handrail on the front porch, this construction site that served as a classroom for many students will soon become a family's home.




We had the opportunity to meet an amazing group of sophomores from Bradleyville and Chadwick today. They were able to witness firsthand how TRCC is preparing today's students for tomorrow through quality career and technical education. We are looking forward to many of these students enrolling in one of our 13 programs of study next fall.




The students in Auto Technology I have mastered the intricacies of lifting many different types of cars and trucks and how each one requires careful consideration for jack placement. They have also been proven to be proficient in the use of the tire machine. The next stop on their learning journey is...BRAKES and braking systems.





Recently, students from our EMT program attended the 2025 Missouri HOSA Fall Leadership Conference in Columbia. While there, the students attended workshops related to fueling passion, stepping out of one’s comfort zone, managing conflict, and had opportunities to network with other attendees.
