Today, sophomores from Blue Eye High School checked out all of the great options Table Rock Career Center has in helping prepare all students for college, career, and life.
Students in the EMT program have been hard at work mastering the art of patient assessments as they prepare for their clinical rotations with the Taney County Ambulance District.
Students in the Early Childhood Careers Program had an opportunity to visit OTC’s Early Childhood Education Department, Greene Valley State School and Stewart Head Start Center.
SkillsUSA members from Blue Eye, Branson, Forsyth, Galena, and Reeds Spring completed a service project prepping materials to build 50 beds for the Table Rock Lake chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This great organization is dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch beds to children and families in need.

The foundation is set. The first line has been snapped for the sill plate. It only goes up from here for students in the construction program as they continue the process of building another house.
Students in Culinary Arts have been busy completing a unit on sauces by making a delicious hollandaise sauce.
Galena High School sent over a great group of Sophomores to tour our great programs of study. Even better, this group of students will be some of the very first students to receive a quality Career and Technical Education at the new Table Rock Career Center next year.
What a great morning! Over 100 students from Forsyth High School visited GTC to explore all of the great things the new Table Rock Career Center has to offer for the 2024-2025 school year.
Last week 28 members of our SkillsUSA chapter visited Convoy of Hope and helped package over 71,000 bars of soap to be used in future disaster relief operations. SkillsUSA is committed to making sure the United States has a viable workforce for the jobs of tomorrow. An additional goal of our SkillsUSA chapter is to help students see the importance of being civic-minded adults.
The students in the collision program have been hard at work with various customer projects. From dent repair, sanding, to the paint shop, and the final detailing of the vehicle, these students are learning skills they will have for the rest of their lives.
Students in Mr. Thompson's Computer Technology class have been partnering with the Reeds Spring IT Department repairing student Chromebooks.

Twenty-two members of our SkillsUSA chapter came out on a cold and rainy Saturday morning for a service project at the Tri-Lakes Humane Society. It is great how excited these students are to help so many local organizations.
