
The Health Tech program spent the day with the Health Science Department at the OTC Hollister Campus on 11/18. Students were able to receive industry training from the OTC staff on: sterilizing gloves, insulin injections, inserting IVs and urinary catheters. @OTCedu @rswolves


It was great meeting with Mr. Marshall's students from the Reeds Spring Middle School Careers Class. We had a great discussion about various career pathways available to all students and a great tour showcasing all of the great things GTC has to offer. @ReedsSpringMS @RSWolves


Former EMT students Chad Pino (Hollister) and Jacob Childress (Branson) from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District returned to GTC to help train students on how to properly immobilize a patient with a suspected spinal injury. @RSWolves @Hollister_RV @bransonschools


Hollister senior and Culinary student Evan Diaz is our November GTC Professional of the Month from the morning block. He loves the chaos of a professional kitchen and is looking forward to attending C of O in the fall to study Culinary Arts. @RSWolves @Hollister_RV


Congratulations to RSHS senior and culinary student Nathan Bauman for being named the November Professional of the Month from our afternoon block. He loves cooking and is looking forward to studying culinary arts and sustainable farming after high school. @RSWolves @ReedsSpringHS


Yesterday our staff got the opportunity to visit other area Career Centers spanning from Washington, Missouri to Pittsburgh, Kansas and downtown Kansas City. Lots of great sharing of best practices and building relationships to help strengthen our CTE programs.


Computer Technology students Cameron Hill (Branson) and the following Reeds Spring students: Cliff Goss, Gabriel Jones, Camron Brandenburg recently excelled in a TestOut Cyber Defense online event. Students in this program have a opportunity to earn 3 TestOut Certifications.



We are very proud to announce that our EMT program was awarded a $5000 grant from the Skaggs Foundation. Mrs. Williams along with Preston Blubaugh and Angel Dowdy were able to attend the awards presentation.


Members of SkillsUSA completed a service project at Convoy of Hope. The members helped pack over 2,000 hygiene kits. It's great how students from 11 different schools come together to make a positive impact in our community. @SkillsUSA @SkillsUSAMO @ConvoyofHope


Mrs. Parrish’s Health Tech students were able to use the new IV poles and supplies in a recent lab. These items were purchased through a Reeds Spring School Foundation Grant. WHAT A GREAT ORGANIZATION!
Students in this program have an opportunity to earn his/her CNA license.


What a great open house! We loved seeing so many parents, students, and members of the community who came out to see all of the great things GTC has to offer. Special thanks to Mrs. Noriega's students for making the deserts and to Mrs. Boyd and Mrs. McGregor for serving hot dogs.

Blue Eye junior Amelya Deal, Reeds Spring senior Kennedy Brown and other students in the Early Childhood Careers program have been working hard in their practicums. ECC students can earn a certification that will allow them to work in many preschool environments. @SkillsUSA


GTC just hosted our semi-annual advisory committee meeting. We rely on the assistance from industry partners to keep our programs relevant to meet the needs for the jobs of tomorrow. Thanks to Mrs. Noriega and her Culinary Arts students for preparing and serving a great meal.
