Upon graduation, Logan registered as a Youth Apprentice through the U.S. Department of Labor, pursuing a career as a Fiberglass Repair Technician. Since then, he has trained under the guidance of a master technician, completing more than 4,000 hours of on-the-job training with Hughes Marine in Branson.

TRCC Collision Repair instructor Chris Stober had this to say about Logan’s time at TRCC, “Logan communicated to me that he wanted to pursue a career in fiberglass repair. This is an area that has been outside my comfort zone throughout my professional career, but we were able to learn together through a wide variety of customer projects that helped him realize his career goals.”

Logan reflected on his time at TRCC, saying, “Mr. Stober did a great job of providing fiberglass repair opportunities for me. I began working on minor repairs and gained the confidence to work on more complex projects.”

Rachel Pryor, RS Works Internship & Apprenticeship Coordinator, praised the apprenticeship program through the U.S. Department of Labor, saying, “Apprenticeships are a great way to train under a master technician without the cost of college while still gaining the same hands-on skills, real-world experience, and career opportunities.”

Dana Hughes, co-owner of Hughes Marine, also had high praise for Logan, “He is the youngest person on our staff, but you would never know it. He always comes in early and is always willing to stay late in an effort to provide the best service to our customers.”

Congratulations, Logan, and best of luck as you continue your career!
