Students and staff from TRCC made the trip to Jefferson City to thank lawmakers and state officials who are continuously advocating for Career and Technical Education and for their legislative support in the construction of our new state-of-the-art facility that opened in the fall of 2024.
The following students did a great job communicating to those who serve in our government at the state level how Career and Technical Education is preparing them college, career, and life: Tanner Stults (EMT/Reeds Spring High School), Chloe Kugler (EMT/Reeds Spring High School), Cason Kemp (Construction/Hollister High School), Savannah Cartright (Graphic Design/Branson High School), and Lucia Esqueda (Culinary Arts/Spokane High School)
Thanks to Senator Brad Hudson (District 33), Senator Mike Moon (District 29), Representative Burt Waley (District 138), Representative Brian Sietz (District 156), Representative Mathew Overcast (District 155), and Karla Eslinger (Missouri Commissioner of Education) for spending time with our student learning about how their educational experiences at TRCC are shaping them for life after high school.
