Even though students were out of school for two weeks, Reeds Spring High School athletes kept busy with competitions.
The girls basketball beat Blue Eye 51-36. Saylor Johnson scored 20 points, and Allie Johnson added 15. The Lady Wolves lost to Marionville 52-39 and beat Crane 35-33. In the Pink and White Tournament, the Lady Wolves defeated Sarcoxie 50-41, but then lost to Nixa 63-22 and to Miller 55-24.
Boys Basketball
The RSHS boys basketball team lost to Mt. Vernon 49-33, lost to Clinton 46-45, and beat Weaubleau 44-41. In the Blue and Gold Tournament, Reeds Spring lost to Marshfield 82-56 and lost to Aurora 48-45.
Wrestling
The Wolves wrestling team lost to Helias 55-24. Kadyn Allerton won at 144 and Braydyn Fuller won at 190. The Wolves beat Osage 48-30. Winners included Brayden Colon at 132, Allerton at 144, Draven Davis at 157, Fuller at 190, and Chase Fagan at 285.
At the Eldon girls tournament, Bailey Zittleman placed fifth in her weight class.
At the Kinloch Classic in Springfield, Kadyn Allerton placed third at 138 pounds.
