vaccinations

State law requires that students receive a second dose of the Meningococcal (MCV4)  immunization prior to the start of their senior year.

You must provide documentation of receiving this immunization  to the high school nurse prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

Students will not be allowed to start school until this documentation is received. If you have any questions, you may contact Nurse Rebecca at 272-8171 x 1311.

For Students Attending Summer School:

All required immunizations must be completed by May 27. Please ensure that documentation of these immunizations is submitted to the school nurse by this deadline.

Failure to meet this requirement may prevent students from attending summer school. Be sure to take care of this well in advance!

Immunization Opportunity - Tuesday, May 20, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Staff from the Stone County Health Department will be available at the High School to provide the Tdap and Meningitis vaccines to future 12th graders.

This event will take place at the same time as Free Physical Night. You will need to provide a copy of your child's immunization record. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Karla or Nurse Rebecca.
