Reeds Spring High School’s boys and girls basketball teams had big wins last week. The boys defeated Hollister 61-60. Jayden Turner scored the winning basket with one second left in the game. Nathan Mitchell led the Wolves with 25 points. Later in the week, RSHS fell to Mt. Vernon 70-58. Jace Bolin scored 24 points in that game. Then, the Wolves beat Marshfield 49-44.
Girls Basketball
The Lady Wolves defeated Parkview 47-36. Allie Johnson led the way with 14 points. Harley Watson added 12 and Kylie Fitzwater scored ten. The Lady Wolves lost games to Marshfield 78-20 and Mt. Vernon 45-34.
Wrestling
At the Thundering Herd Tournament in Buffalo, Blaiklee Cage won the 170-pound weight class. Kierstin Allen was second at 145, Shane Pearson was second at 126, and Sebastian Michaud was second at 215. Shylea Sherer placed third at 115 pounds.
