Congratulations to the September GTC Staff Members of the Month.
Mr. Chris Jenkins (Marine Technology) is our Teacher of the Month. Mr. Jenkins was a student at GTC while attending Forsyth High School. His early experience at GTC paved the way for a long career in the marine industry. He is excited to see the growth in his program and is looking forward to students earning his/her OSHA 10 Cards and Forklift Certifications this year.
Our Employee of the Month is Mrs. Candy Boyd. Mrs. Boyd is one of our great administrative assistants who has played a pivotal role in helping the staff transition to the new student information system. She enjoys watching the students grow in their programs of study and is always the first welcoming face people see when they enter the building. When anyone needs help she is always willing to lend a helping hand.
