Mrs. Deaton's third graders come in every morning and work together with bins that are on their tables. This promotes teamwork, social skills, and gross/fine motor skills.
Mrs. Boyd's fourth graders learned about the brain and how it impacts the choices we make. This helps to understand the difference between a fixed and a growth mindset. Students worked in groups to become experts in certain areas of the brain and presented their knowledge to the class.
