Celebrating Local Crafters, Student Leadership, and Community Spirit
The Reeds Spring Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) invites the community to the Community Connects Craft Fair on Saturday, November 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Reeds Spring High School. Admission is free, and all are welcome to enjoy a full day of shopping, food, and fun.
This vibrant event will showcase 48 student entrepreneurs alongside more than 50 regional craft vendors, offering a wide variety of handmade goods, home décor, jewelry, art, and holiday gifts. Gift wrapping station included! Guests can also enjoy three local food trucks and live music performances throughout the day.
Adding to the community focus, much of the event’s operation will be run by student volunteers, serving as emcees, photographers, greeters, and members of the hospitality team. Their involvement highlights the district’s commitment to hands-on leadership and real-world learning experiences.
Proceeds from the fair will directly support teacher and staff appreciation initiatives across the Reeds Spring School District — a heartfelt effort to give back to the educators and staff who make a difference every day. Community members describe the event as a chance to connect and celebrate local creativity.
“We got to know our neighbors and friends even better. There are so many people who are creative, and I didn’t know that side of them until today,” said Simone Patton, who last year sold her handmade soaps and bath salts alongside her daughters, creators of custom stickers.
PTO President and event chair Erica Abell-Holland shared, “We are thrilled with the year-over-year growth, which extends from vendor participation, fundraising, and student involvement. The craft fair hits all our mission points! We hope these activities make participants feel they are part of something special, reinforcing the sense of belonging we all cherish within our community.”
The Community Connects Craft Fair is made possible through the generous support of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Walmart Branson West, and Table Rock Career Center.
