The Reeds Spring School District invites community members to help keep Wolf Pack Park beautiful while gathering free firewood!
We are allowing volunteers to remove pre-marked trees for personal firewood use. To participate, please review the schedule, safety guidelines, and registration details below.
Event Schedule
Saturday, Oct. 10 from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Guidelines & Requirements
Waiver & Registration: All participants must complete a liability waiver before beginning work. Waivers can be completed in advance or filled out on-site.
First-Come, First-Served: Designated work areas are limited. Priority for area assignment will be given to individuals who submit their paperwork in advance.
Personal Equipment & PPE: Participants are responsible for bringing their own cutting equipment, tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (e.g., eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, boots).
Safety & Navigation: Each participant or group will be assigned a specific work area. Park staff will be on-site to help guide you to your assigned spot.
Mandatory Check-Out: Before leaving, all participants must check out with park staff to verify that their assigned area—including all brush, limbs, and debris—is completely cleared.
