Mondays will be MS Rocket League matches from 4-5pm. Thursdays will be MS Smash Bros Crew Battle matches from 4 to 5pm. On these competition days, students must be picked up by 5pm sharp.

Rocket League and Crew Battles will start the week of January 30th and will run for 7 weeks. Our expected end date is March 16, but we anticipate that date moving back based on snow days. Dead weeks (snow day buffer): 3/20 and 3/27 Makeup weeks: 4/3 and 4/10. There is a possibility for postseason play. Regionals are scheduled for 4/17 and 4/24 (may vary for regions hosting in-person events) In-person finals are scheduled for May with dates TBA.

Match structure for Match structure for Rocket League is 3v3 with the best of 5 matches. Smash Crews are teams of 5 with the best of 2 rounds. Click here for specifics on rules.

Mr. Parsons plans on three Crew Battles teams of 5, so 15 students will be rostered, plus designated subs on a weekly basis. Also, we have plans for two Rocket League teams of 3, so 6 students will be rostered, plus designated subs on a weekly basis.

RSMS eSports is a competitive sport through MOSEF where we play against other Missouri schools online on the Nintendo Switch game "Super Smash Bros Ultimate" and "Rocket League" on XBox One. Yes, this is a school sport! Players are expected to attend practices and online matches. Students interested MUST complete and sign a Participation Agreement with a parent and turn it in to the MS office. As with any sport, students will need to "make the team" by showing their skills in practice. Refining your skills on these games on your own time is highly encouraged!
