Welcome to Reeds Spring Middle School Band

RSMS Bands host our beginning and symphonic band programs. Our students start their musical career in 7th grade with separated beginning band classes consisting of: Flutes/Double Reeds, Single Reeds, High Brass, Low Brass, Percussion. This allows our students a more individualized beginning band experience in 7th grade. Symphonic band is host to 2nd year musicians. Here, they will master their basic technical skills and continue to build their individual musicianship.

RSMS Bands hold 2-3 concerts per year. All grades participate in solo/ensemble and large ensemble contests.
