Meeting Attendance
NHS Chapter Meetings are during GSH in the Aux Gym. Check-in with an NHS officer when you arrive. Do not be late!!!
If you know that you will miss a chapter meeting due to an activity/event, or approved absence, contact your class rep or sponsors at least 1 day before the meeting via email or text.
Remember to open up the NHS class on Canvas so you can receive notifications during the school year and join Remind.
Mandatory attendance of the Induction Ceremony for sophomores! Hours will be added if you do not attend.

Event Sign Up
Remember to communicate with the contact person when you sign up to get further details about the event.
Check in with the supervisor when you arrive, so he/she knows you helped with the event.
You will need to know the supervisor's name and an email or telephone number for verification of service hours.
You can only remove your name the week before the event. If you can't work the event, communicate with Ms. Wilson or Mrs. Parish ASAP!!!!
Purpose of Dues
WHY DO I PAY DUES?
NHS dues pay for the national fee for being an NHS chapter, the new member certificates, supplies for the Induction ceremony, and half the cost of Graduation stoles.
Check to see if you have paid your dues.
SENIORS in the Spring Semester--- Check to see if you have paid for your Graduation stole unless you are wearing a sibling's or friend's stole (please let Ms. Wilson or Mrs. Parish know if you are not buying). You will pay Ms. Wilson.
