ON THE WATER

WATER & BOAT SAFETY
All aspects of boating and water safety will be covered. This course will cover new and existing laws and safety tips. All ages are welcome to attend. This certificate meets the Missouri state boating requirements. Tuition covers the cost of the manual.

BEGINNING FLY FISHING
The White River is one of the best trout fisheries in the United States. This seminar is for those who wish to begin the sport of fly fishing. The course will include the basics of fly fishing equipment, casting, wading equipment, safety, knots used, trout habitat, basic reading of the water, and fly selection.

FALL/WINTER BASS FISHING
Learn fall/winter fishing patterns and how lures and tackle change with the seasons. Tips will be given that have been learned from experience. The fall/winter bass fishing seminars will include information on fall/winter patterns for catching black bass, spotted bass, and smallmouth. Information about equipment, lures, tackle, and electronics will be discussed.

BUSINESS & COMPUTERS
MICROSOFT OFFICE

Learn the basics of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Delve into formatting documents, choosing themes, and learning all kinds of tips in Word. Learn formulas, graphing, and organization in Excel. Amaze with colors, presentation styles, and implementations of PowerPoint. The teacher is open to answering any questions and enjoys giving tips and tricks along the way.

ARTS & CRAFTS
BEGINNING BASKET MAKING

In the three weeks, students will learn to weave three different baskets. Each basket will use different weaving techniques. A supply fee of $45 is to be paid to the instructor on the first night of class.

ADVANCED BASKET MAKING

In this advanced class, students will make an apple basket. Potential students need to have knowledge of weaving baskets. No beginners, please. A supply fee of $55 is to be paid to the instructor the first night of class.

TECHNICAL TRADES
WELDING
This class is designed for beginning and progressing welders. After the first night of safety and introduction, the class will transition into the shop. Students will work on skills in the booth for the remainder of the class. Several types of welding processes will be touched upon, including MIG and SMAW (stick).

MARINE MAINTENANCE & LIGHT REPAIR
This class is designed for instruction in the maintenance of outboard and stern drive motors. Students will learn skills for winterization and off-season storage. Light repair will include general engine care and preventative maintenance.

ZUMBA
Want a FUN and EXCITING way to work out? Zumba infuses musical rhythms and tantalizing moves in routines. These feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and
resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. By adding some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix, you’ve got Zumba. Come join the “Fitness Party” and have a BLAST!

YOGA FOR EVERYONE

Join us for gentle routines that increase strength and flexibility. Suitable for beginner to intermediate level. PHOTOGRAPHY
UNDERSTAND YOUR CAMERA
Learn how to use all of the functions of your camera. The class is designed for both film and digital photographers, owners of new digital cameras will understand all of the options available for improving photographs. You will learn the basic strategies for using your camera and get great information on exposure and lighting techniques.
