Visiting Our Schools

This year, we’re introducing a new visitor check-in system. This updated system will:

  • Make the check-in process quicker and more secure

  • Ensure that all visitors are properly identified and approved before entering our buildings

What to expect: whenever you visit one of our schools, you’ll use a simple, user-friendly kiosk in the front office. You’ll be asked to scan a government-issued photo ID as part of the sign-in process. We’ll send out more information before the first day of school.

Safety

SRP

For consistency, we have developed the following terms to use:

  • HOLD: "In Your Room or Area" is the protocol used when hallways need to be kept clear of occupants.

  • SECURE: "Get Inside. Lock Outside Doors" is the protocol used to safeguard people within the building.

  • LOCKDOWN: is followed by "Locks, Lights, Out of Sight" and is the protocol used to secure individual rooms and keep occupants quiet and in place.

  • EVACUATE: may be followed by a location, and is used to move people from one location to a different location in or out of the building.

  • SHELTER: and state the Hazard and Safety Strategy for group and self-protection.

Communication

We email newsletters every Monday throughout the school year. You can also follow Reeds Spring Schools on Facebook and Instagram! Download our app and check www.rs-wolves.com for updates.
