2020-2021 Announcements

It is time to register for winter activities. We offer basketball skills for grades K-2 and a basketball league for grades 3-6. If you are interested in wrestling, contact Sam Love at 527-9773.

Click on Information & Forms on the right side of this page to fill out the required paperwork.
Tuesday, September 8 is the deadline to register for fall youth activities. Please return the attached registration form to the office of your child's school. You can pay online.

We currently offer volleyball for grades 3-6, flag football for grades K-2, and Running Club for grades K-6. If you have any questions, contact Jared Anderson at janderson@wolves.k12.mo.us or call 417-272-8171 ext. 1319.

The youth tackle football season is quickly approaching and we are excited to announce that we are able to play this season. The Reeds Spring School District is working hard to make sure that our students have a productive and meaningful fall season.

I apologize that we couldn't have our Mighty Mites Camp but we decided to finish the summer with the fall season in mind and do everything that we can to maximize our chances of playing in fall. That being said, we are behind on player sign-ups.

I have attached the schedule and signup forms. Please fill out a form for each player in the household and send them back to me at janderson@rswolves.com.

If you fill out the sign-up form online, you will also have to fill out and sign the hard copy form for our records. The online sign up is to get your information out to our coaches so they can contact you with information regarding the season.

Here is the link for player sign-ups.

We will also have a player sign-up night next week, Tuesday, August 11 at the high school stadium. 3rd and 4th grade will be from 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 5th and 6th grade will be from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Please follow social distancing guidelines. Stay in your car until your time is up. We will have two tables, one for each grade level. You will be able to sign up and pay the fees for the season.

We have added a feature for youth activities this year where you can pay the fees online. The link to this is below. Our charge for football is $100 per player and $60 for each additional player in the household. You can still pay via check or cash when you sign up, but we thought that this could be beneficial.

We are taking all precautions that the Stone Co. Health Department has sent out. We will also follow the guidelines that Reeds Spring School District has pushed out also. Here are some things that will be required for our coaches and players. I know that some of these things are not ideal, but these are the things that will have to happen in order for our kids to have a fun, safe, and productive season.

  • Social Distancing will be encouraged during all team activities
  • All coaches will be wearing masks when social distancing can not be attained during practices and games. These will be provided to coaches
  • All players in grades 5-6 will wear masks during practices and games. These will be provided. I have spoken to the coaches on how this will look. The masks will not have to be worn during playing time but will need to be worn during long periods of standing in the huddle, in lines, or on the sideline. If social distancing can be accomplished, the mask does not need to be up on the face.

The league met last week to set the schedule and talk about the upcoming season. In regards to the schedule, there isn't much change from last year. The schedule is attached below. Parents will be allowed to attend games and sit in the stands while following social distancing guidelines.

Practices will start the week of Aug. 17. Practice time and dates will be sent out by our coaches.  They will also be sent out via TeamApp.

Here are the coaches for each grade level.
3rd Grade - Brian Moler/Miricle Anderson
4th Grade - KC Carpenter/Travis Kite
5th Grade - Joe White/JP Gardner/Ryan Beaman/Jim Cardenzana
6th Grade - Josh Stevens/Dallas Coleman/Charles Hartsfield/John Johnson/Tim Hejlek

We will not be able to have team water bottles. Each player must have their own bottle, brought from home. This will be the case during practices and games.

Each player must have a physical in order to practice and play games. These must be into the coach before the first practice. Physicals are good for two years. So, if you turned one in last year and the coaches still have them filed, you do not need to get another physical.

ALL players must fill out a school district PPE form. You can find this on the school website. I have also attached the form to this email and the link is below. These forms must be turned into the coach before the first practice.

We are also going to use a new platform for communication this year. We will be using TeamApp for all coach-to-parent communication. I have attached a flyer for you to get started. Create an account and sign up for the team/group. There are a lot of great features with TeamApp. All forms and schedules are attached to the app. You can find them in the documents section. Plus all announcements regarding practices and games will come through this app.
