Summer School Survey
April 30, 2020
Dear Reeds Spring Families,
As you all know, the Governor will begin relaxing stay at home guidelines beginning May 4. While this information has hopefully provided some encouragement for many of you, it also provides some direction for the district in regards to summer school planning for this 2020 summer. This year, the state of Missouri has allowed some flexibility in the way summer school might look and has given local districts guidelines and requirements for what virtual summer school must provide. This has resulted in many different decisions in summer school plans in the surrounding districts and communities.
Although the state is relaxing stay-at-home orders, we understand the impact this pandemic had will continue to be felt for many families for much longer. In order for us to prepare for summer school in a way that not only provides structure and important educational opportunities for students but also meets the needs of our families and working parents, we would like to gather your input on summer school options. Please understand that in all scenarios, we will continue to keep students’ health and safety as a top priority and we will continue to follow guidance from local and state health departments.
Please click on the link below to fill out a quick survey to provide input on your thoughts on 2020 summer school. For the district to consider all options with accurate data, please fill out a response form for each child in your household.
Thank you for your support during the last couple of months as we continue to make decisions based on what we feel is best for our students and community. Your support and encouragement during this time have been greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please let me know by emailing email@example.com
