Paraprofessional Earns Grant to Continue Education

The philanthropic women’s group, P.E.O., awarded a $3,000 grant to Reeds Spring High School paraprofessional Hope Hogue. Hogue is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Governors University. Her goal is to become a special education teacher.

P.E.O. was established in 1869 to bring women increased opportunities for higher education. The local chapter, MX, is located in Branson. The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education is a need-based program providing one-time financial assistance to women whose education has been interrupted.
