School Foundation Awards Mini-Grants to Teachers

More than a dozen teachers in the Reeds Spring School District plan to implement unique classroom lessons with funding from Reeds Spring School Foundation mini-grants.

The foundation awarded $6,000 in mini-grants on Friday, October 12. Teachers in the Reeds Spring School District had to apply for the grants, worth up to $500, and explain how the money would be used for student enrichment.

Every age-level, from Pre-K to 12, received some funding. The Reeds Spring School Foundation raises the money primarily from PACK NIGHT, an annual fundraiser held at Dolly Parton’s Stampede.
