Wolves Improve to 3-0

The Reeds Spring High School football team improved to 3-0 on the season by defeating Logan-Rogersville 40-15 on Friday, September 7.

Quarterback Blake Gronvold rushed for 101 yards and scored two touchdowns. Seth Stamps added 93 yards rushing and a TD. Cody Hughes and Colton Cramblett also scored for the Wolves on offense.

Ben Moler led the defense with 18 total tackles, and J.T. Bayliff returned an interception 84 yards for a TD. The Wolves travel to Mt. Vernon on Friday, September 14.


The Lady Wolves lost a heartbreaker to McDonald County 3-1, and lost to Logan-Rogersville 3-0. The JV team beat McDonald County 6-1 but lost to Rogersville 14-4.


The RSHS volleyball team lost to Clever 2-0 last week, but the JV squad and C-team both won. The first home match of the year was against Monett, and the Lady Wolves won 2-0. The JV team also defeated the Cubs.


The Lady Wolves competed at Springfield Catholic, Hillcrest, and Forsyth last week, and also played in the Panther Classic tournament Saturday at Forsyth. 

The ladies beat Hillcrest 9-0, but lost to Catholic and Forsyth. The team came in third place at the tournament, defeating Clever.
