School Foundation Awards $65,000 in Scholarships

32 recent graduates will begin their postsecondary education with some additional financial support, courtesy of the Reeds Spring School Foundation. The organization awarded $65,000 dollars in scholarships to the RSHS Class of 2018.

The scholarships range from $500-$6,000. Students had to complete an application and interview for the opportunity to receive a scholarship.

The foundation raised the money primarily through Pack Night, an annual fundraiser at Dolly Parton's Stampede. 100% of the proceeds go to students, either through scholarships or classroom grants.

$65,000 is the most the foundation has ever raised in one year. Since 2011, the Reeds Spring School Foundation has raised $367,000.
