Wolves Impress at Nixa Track Meet

Reeds Spring High School athletes won four individual events at last week's track and field meet in Nixa. Logen Plumb finished first in Javelin, Kelly Newton was first in Triple Jump, Tara Sampson was first in High Jump, and Rachel Bagg won the 3200-meter run.

The Wolves also competed at Pittsburg State on April 13. Sampson finished second in High Jump and Paige Rantz was second in Pole Vault.

The Wolves defeated Buffalo last week, 5-2 and lost to Springfield Catholic, 14-3. The JV team also beat Buffalo and lost to Catholic. The varsity team's record is now 6-3.

The golf team played three times last week. At Clever, Ross McMurdo shot a 99 and Josh Green shot a 105. At Cassville, McMurdo shot a 97 and Green shot a 105. At Ledgestone, Green shot a 52 in nine holes, good for fourth place.
The boys tennis team played in the Springfield Invitational tournament last week. The doubles team of Nick Smugala and Parker Maloney made it to the final 16 teams. 
Later in the week, the Wolves beat Monett 8-1, with several players winning their individual games 6-0.
