Wolves Begin Baseball Season 3-0

The Reeds Spring High School baseball team has started the season with three straight wins. The Wolves beat Forsyth 12-2, Monett 3-2, and Spokane 12-0.

Against Forsyth, Cody Hughes and Collin Briley each had three hits. Cole Watson added a home run and Noah Briley was the winning pitcher.

Against Monett, Watson hit another home run and Collin Cross had two RBI. Blake Gronvold was the winning pitcher.

Against Spokane, Watson, Cross, and Noah Briley each had three hits. Seth Stamps added two doubles and three RBI. Cross was the winning pitcher.

Track and Field
Nine athletes from RSHS competed at the Willard Thrower’s Meet on March 16. For the boys, Grant Clark had the best shot put throw (42-9) and Logen Plumb had the best javelin throw (127-9) and best discus (100-11). 
 
For the girls, Sydney Sanders had the best shot put (25-7), Orianna Conners had the best discus throw (65-7), and Tara Sampson had the best javelin throw (70-2).
