Golden Friends Luncheon a Big Success

More than 200 people enjoyed a free meal and fellowship during the Reeds Spring School District's 21st Annual Golden Friends Luncheon, held Wednesday, March 14 at Reeds Spring High School.

The district hosts this event each year for people 55 and older as a way to show gratitude to the community for its support. Guests heard musical performances by the Elementary Singers, the RSHS Jazz Band, and cast members from the RSHS production of "Grease."

Students from the RSHS Cornerstone class explained the various community service projects they have organized throughout the year and the leadership skills they have developed along the way.

The district would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as the students, staff, and volunteers who set up, served, and cleaned up at Golden Friends!
