Bagg to Run Cross Country at C of O

Reeds Spring High School senior Rachel Bagg signed a National Letter of Intent to run cross country at College of the Ozarks.

"I just want to continue to pursue my passion for running," Bagg said. "There's not much pressure. I just want to do it for the fun of it."

Bagg competed in the state cross country championship three times in her high school career, finishing sixth this past November. She's also qualified for state three times in track, competing in the 3200-meter run and the 4x800-meter relay. Bagg is excited to attend C of O.

"My sister has gone there, so I know the atmosphere and the environment," Bagg said. "It's the perfect school for me."

Bagg plans to study Biology and Pre-Veterinary Medicine, with hopes of eventually attending the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine.
