Three Reeds Spring High School wrestlers qualified for the state championship by finishing fourth or better at the district wrestling meet held February 9-10 in Clinton, Missouri.
Clayton Johnson, a junior, won the 170-pound weight class, and improved his record to 26-2 on the season. Eric Holt, a freshman, finished fourth at 120 pounds, and sophomore Chase Johnson finished fourth at 106 pounds.
The state wrestling meet will be held February 15-17 in Columbia.
The boys basketball team lost both of its games last week. The Wolves fell to Rogersville 50-36 and to Aurora 66-61.
Lane Carroll scored 20 points in the Rogersville game and Logen Plumb had 22 against Aurora. Plumb also set the school record for most charges taken in a single season with 25. He broke his own record of 24, which was set last year.
Senior Night will be held on Tuesday, February 13 when the Wolves host Hollister.
The JV team split its games last week, falling to Rogersville 62-47 and beating Aurora 64-28.
The Lady Wolves defeated Seymour last week, 76-43. The team’s record is currently 9-12. Senior Night will be held on Thursday, February 15 when RSHS hosts Rogersville.
