Important Information Regarding Solar Eclipse

The Reeds Spring School District recognizes the many educational opportunities presented by the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21. The eclipse also presents serious health concerns, and a recent recall raises uncertainty about the safety of eclipse glasses we ordered for all students.

Since student safety is our top priority, district leaders have chosen to err on the side of caution and keep students indoors on Monday, August 21.

The solar eclipse will still be viewed via live stream inside of classrooms. The students will also participate in many learning activities centered around the event. We look forward to sharing this unique experience with our students.
