Reeds Spring Ready For New School Year

The Reeds Spring School District's 2017-2018 school year begins on Wednesday, August 16, and the staff is eager to welcome back students.

Reeds Spring has nearly 1,800 students and employs 320 staff members, including teachers, principals, counselors, custodians, food service workers, bus drivers, and other support staff who play a role in helping every student succeed.

“We are committed to every student who walks through our doors, and we will see that all students receive a high-quality, individualized and equitable education,” says Superintendent Michael Mason.

Reeds Spring students have numerous academic opportunities to ensure that all of their needs are met and that they are prepared for their future, including dual-credit courses, STEM opportunities, character education, 1:1 learning, and student leadership training.

The district also offers a wide range of options and services that support the total child, including social/emotional supports, career and college counseling, and access to physical and mental health resources when needed. These are just a few of the reasons why the Reeds Spring School District is a Great Place to Learn and a Great Place to Work!
