Wolves Win District Track and Field Title

The Reeds Spring High School boys track and field team continued its impressive season by winning the Class 3, District 6 Track Meet last weekend. 
Individual winners included:
Ransom Allphin (110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles)
Korey Robinette (100-meter dash and 200-meter dash)
Xavier McDaniel (Shot Put and Discus)
Kyle Modlin (Triple Jump)
The 4x100-meter relay team and 4x200-meter relay team also won.
The girls track and field team finished fourth overall. The 4x100-meter relay team finished first, so did the 4x200-meter relay team. The sectional track meet is May 20 at Eldon.
The baseball team split its last two regular season games, beating Hollister 8-2 and falling to Cassville 3-1. In the first round of district play, the Wolves defeated Mount Vernon 4-2. 
The RSHS boys tennis team won its district semifinal match against Greenwood, 5-0. Nick Smugala and Carson Hewitt won singles matches and the doubles teams of Smugala and Parker Maloney, Scott Mueller and Dyllan Harris, and Hewitt and Harley Caudill won as well. In the district championship, the Wolves lost to Springfield Catholic, 5-0.
