Wolves Upset Bolivar in Baseball

Reeds Spring High School's baseball team beat seventh-ranked Bolivar 3-0 last week. Collin Cross pitched all seven innings, giving up only two hits and striking out six. Seth Stamps and Craig Foster both had a double and a run batted in. Brendan Durham, Chance Herrman, Collin Cross, and Carter Sadler all had hits as well. The JV team lost to Bolivar 9-8 in 12 innings.  

The Wolves competed in the Marshfield invitational last week. The team shot its lowest team score of the season and finished sixth out of 13 teams. Brian Kroeger had the low individual round with a 92.

The track and field team competed at Willard last week. Korey Robinette won the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. Ransom Allphin won the 110-meter hurdles, and the boys 4x200 meter relay team also finished first. Izzy Erickson finished second in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, while Rachel Bagg broke the school record in the 3200-meter run.

RSHS defeated Willow Springs, 7-2. Scott Mueller, Harley Caudill, Dyllan Harris, Parker Maloney, and Carson Hewitt all won singles matches. The doubles teams of Nick Smugala and Maloney and Mueller and Harris also won.
