The Reeds Spring High School track and field team recently competed at Marshfield, Nixa, and Pittsburg, Kansas. At Marshfield, Asa Baker was first in shot put. At Nixa, Ranson Allphin won the 110-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, and Korey Robinette won the 200-meter dash. The boys 4x100-meter relay team also won. At Pittsburg, Robinette won the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, Allphin won the 400-meter dash and 110-meter hurdles, and Tara Sampson won the high jump.
The Wolves went 1-3 last week. First, they lost to Buffalo 2-0. Then, Springfield Catholic defeated Reeds Spring 6-2. The team beat Ash Grove 16-2 last Saturday and then lost to New Covenant Academy 12-2. The baseball team's overall record is currently 5-8.
The Wolves defeated New Covenant Academy, Summit Prep, and Monett last week. The team was also competitive in the Springfield Invitational. The doubles team of Scott Mueller and Nick Smugala went 2-1 in the tournament, so did the doubles team of Dyllan Harris and Parker Maloney.
The golf team played at Logan-Rogersville last week. The Wolves shot a 424 overall and finished eighth out of ten teams. Brian Kroeger had the low individual score with a 98.
