Reeds Spring High School has student-athletes competing in baseball, golf, track, and tennis this spring.
The Wolves lost their opening game to Forsyth. In the Right Off the Bat Tournament, RSHS defeated Clever but lost to Walnut Grove, Aurora, and Conway. Last weekend, the Wolves defeated Neelyville and Northwest Hughesville. The team's record is currently 3-4.
The golf team hosted a tournament at LedgeStone on Tuesday, March 28. The Wolves finished fifth out of ten teams. Tyler Lingholm shot the low score for the team with a 93. That was tied for the eighth best individual score.
The track season began with the Buffalo Thrower's Meet. Anny Campbell won the shot put and discus. Marshfield then held a meet for only freshmen and sophomores. Nick Huston finished second in the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, while Grant Clark was second in the shot put and discus. At the Branson Invitational, Korey Robinette won the 100-meter dash and Ransom Allphin won the 110-meter hurdles.
The boys tennis team lost its opening match to Springfield Catholic, 9-0. The Wolves then defeated Springfield Hillcrest 7-2. The winners in the singles matches included Scott Mueller, Harley Caudill, Dyllan Harris, Parker Maloney, and Carson Hewitt. The doubles teams of Mueller and Harris and Maloney and Hewitt also won.
