Lady Wolves 4th in Seymour Tournament

Reeds Spring High School's girls basketball team went 1-2 in the Seymour Invitational last week. The Lady Wolves lost to state-ranked Walnut Grove, 59-30. The team then defeated Marion C. Early, 41-38.

In the third place game, the Lady Wolves lost to Logan-Rogersville's JV team on a last-second shot, 33-32. Coach Lesley Reeves-Eakins says the team is working hard and getting better every day. This week they travel to Bolivar and Rogersville.

Boys Basketball
The varsity boys basketball team lost to Rogersville last week, 52-36. Three nights later, the Wolves beat Forsyth, 66-46. Lane Carroll was the leading scorer in both games. The Wolves are currently 16-7 on the year.

The JV team also lost to Rogersville and defeated Forsyth, making the team's record 9-4. The freshmen lost to Rogersville and defeated Forsyth. The team's record is 8-10.  

Wrestling
The high school wrestling team ended its season at the Class 2 - District 3 Tournament in Clinton. No wrestler advanced to the state meet.
