Successful Week for RSHS Athletes

The Reeds Spring High School girls volleyball team won the consolation bracket of the Hollister Volleyball Tournament over the weekend. After losing to Rogers and Clever, the team rallied to win matches against Thayer, Bergman, Blue Eye, and Licking. The Lady Wolves also defeated Bolivar last week in three sets.

Cross Country
RSHS cross country runner Rachel Bagg won the Hollister Invitational last week. Bagg, a junior, qualified for the state meet last year.

The Wolves defeated Buffalo last week, 55-21. Colter Whitten rushed for 103 yards. Quarterback Blake Gronvold rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes as well. The win clinched a share of the Central Ozark Conference Small-Division title. The Wolves will play Springfield Catholic on October 14 with a chance to win the title outright.  

The RSHS softball team finished up the regular season last week with a loss to Monett. In the district tournament, the Lady Wolves lost to Rogersville, 7-3. The varsity finished the season with a 12-12 record and tied for second in the COC. The JV team finished with a record of 11-4.
