School Foundation Awards $53,500 Worth of Scholarships

The Reeds Spring R-IV School Foundation awarded $53,500 worth of scholarships to the Class of 2016. This money came from Pack Night at the Dixie Stampede, the foundation's annual fundraiser.

29 recipients were announced on Senior Awards Night and at graduation. Scholarships ranged in value from $500 to $6,000. Students had to apply for the scholarships and go through an interview process with a panel of judges.

The school foundation was created in 2010 and focuses on providing scholarships, student enrichment, and unique classroom experiences. It is governed by a nine-member board and partners with Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) and the Table Rock Lake Community Foundation.
