Board of Education Approves Four-Day School Week

On Wednesday, February 19 the Reeds Spring Board of Education approved a plan to implement a four-day school week during the 2020-2021 school year.

This decision came after intensive research and significant input from community members, staff, and students. The next step is for district leaders to develop a new school calendar, with a goal of having it approved by the school board at the next meeting on Wednesday, February 26.

The district will make its best effort to keep parents and community members informed of all upcoming decisions that involve the implementation of the new four-day school week.

We have created a Four-Day School Week page on our website, with information about how this change will work.
