The Reeds Spring School District is offering parents and community members a chance to receive Signs of Suicide (SOS) training.
SOS is a school-based prevention program. The goal is to educate, raise awareness, and screen individuals for common behavioral and mental health disorders and suicide. The parent/community training will give an overview of how students are educated and screened.
There are two opportunities to receive this training. The first is Tuesday, October 15 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the library at Reeds Spring Elementary School. The second event is Thursday, October 17 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Reeds Spring Middle School auditorium.
Childcare will be available.
