Big Crowd Attends Golden Friends Luncheon

The Reeds Spring School District thanked its patrons by providing a free meal and entertainment during the annual Golden Friends Luncheon, held March 13 at Reeds Spring High School.

Anyone 55 or older was welcome to attend. More than 200 people showed up and enjoyed performances by the Reeds Spring Elementary Singers and the RSHS band. Guests also heard about a presentation about the RSHS Cornerstone class, which allows students to participate in many community service projects.

The district's incoming superintendent, Dr. Cody Hirschi, also attended and briefly introduced himself to the crowd.

The Reeds Spring School District would like to thank Table Rock Community Bank for sponsoring the Golden Friends Luncheon.
