Dear parents and students,
Welcome back to Reed Spring Intermediate school! My name is Sally Bagg and I’m very excited to start the 2020-21 school year, and I hope you are as well. This is going to be a fun and challenging year for everyone. I will be your child's science teacher. I have lived in the school district for the past eighteen years. I have two daughters, Madison who just moved to North Carolina to start an apprenticeship with Samaritans Purse and Rachel who will be starting her third year at College of the Ozarks. I have one dog, Nala, and a cat, Uni. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening, jeeping, reading and bird watching :)
I worked as a Paraprofessional at the Reeds Spring Middle school for five years and during this time I acquired my Associate's Degree from Ozark Technical Institute. I later went on to graduate from the College of the Ozarks with a teaching degree in the Spring of 2014. Since then, I have taught for six years. In my first three years, I taught fifth grade at Buchanan Intermediate School in Branson. Although it was a wonderful experience, my heart had always wanted to be teaching in the district and community that I lived in and for the last three years, I have had this wonderful opportunity!
In my classroom, I work hard to promote a tight-knit community and strive to create an environment where students feel safe. My goal for this year is to build a classroom that encourages risk-taking, critical thinking, respect, and trust. I truly understand the enormity of my job and I relish in the responsibility and the rewards. My goal is to help your child find success in all areas of their lives. My ultimate goal is to have your child take ownership of their behavior and academic learning. I believe that parents, teachers, and students must work as a team to achieve our highest potential. Through our partnership, I believe we can achieve this!
