Intermediate School Receives Fuel Up to Play 60 Grant

Reeds Spring Intermediate School received a grant from the Midwest Dairy Council to help promote Fuel Up to Play 60, a program that encourages students to make healthy food choices and to be active for 60 minutes a day.

RSIS is offering an elective class this year as a way to promote Fuel Up to Play 60. In this class, students learn how to make healthy food choices as well as participate in a variety of fun activities.

The $1,600 grant will help to enhance the class by providing funds for additional equipment and incentives for students who meet specific goals.
